13 dpo big fat no. helllllp
I got a big fat no this morning. It is my first round of clomid perscribed by my regular gyn. Do you think we should see an re? I got a sono,.. ii know I ovulated so shouldn't the clomid be working??? I'm sad. Should we go to an re? Am I out this month?
Should I request a blood test?

Well, clomid helps you ovulate but it doesnt mean that the sperm will fertilize that egg. So the clomid may be working, but it doesnt necessarily mean you will get pregnant on the first try. KWIM?
I do think you should be seeing a RE if you are on Clomid. The RE will monitor you a lot closer than most gynos so you can see exactly how well you are reacting to the medicine.
good luck!!

i agree with the PP. clomid just makes you O, it has nothing to do with everything else that needs to happen in order to conceive. once you O if you arent doing IUI, your odds are the same as anyone trying regularly. from what i remember the odds any given cycle are only 25% if you are under 25, 20% if you are under 30, and 15% if you are over 30.
i also think you should see an RE if you are on clomid. with better monitoring you will have a better idea of exactly when you will O so that you can time perfectly.

I did know exactly when I ovulated that's why I am so upset. I got a sono and they saw the fluid,...sad.

You aren't necessarily out until AF shows. Could have been a late implanter.
Also, clomid makes you O but even people who O aren't guaranteed to get pregnant each month, other factors play in as well and I think its closer to 20% each cycle. You are taking steps in the right direction though!
I hope it happens for you soon
