spa and ovulation

This is a very stupid question but...

Do you think that going to a spa (sauna, turkish bath and pools) could throw off ovulation? or conception?

I was just thinking that maybe the heat would do something to the spermChat Icon Chat Icon

I know heat is an issue for a man while ttc, not sure about women though.

If anyone is interested I just found this on Whattoexpect.com

f you like it hot, you can soak, steam, or sweat to your heart’s content in a hot tub, sauna, steam room, or mud bath in the lead-up to pregnancy. But if you’re actively trying to conceive, it’s probably best to cool it, since becoming overheated can interfere with conception. (That goes for your man too: A hot bath or sauna can do a number on sperm production.) Best to stick with massages as your muscle-soothing spa treatment of choice.

Looks like I won't be going to Spa Castle tomorrow. I do not want to interfere with conception, especially since I am supposed to O tomorrow!
