Leutal Phase 10 days WWYD? Update w another ?
Hi ladies
So I just finished my first full month of charting/temping and confirmed that my leutal phase is only 10 days.
As a side note, I went for progesterone Bloodowrk before and after O. After O, it was at 6. (anything above 5 indicates "some type" of ovulation, whatever that means 
My Dr didn't seem to think the progesteone was a big deal. But now that Im charting, Im a little concerned (yet again) especially since I had a chemical back in April.
Should I get a second opinion? Is a 10 day LP sfficient? I haven mentioned to my own dr about charting yet b/c Im afraid hell just dismiss it.
WWYD? Im getting tired of trying and failing month after month. Just started spotting today so the b$itch is here 
**UPDATE***So I spotted today (early this afternoon) and since then nada... do I count today as Day 1? If not, and AF comes full flow tomorrow, then I would actually have an 11 day LP..

I have read that anything over 10 days is good for implantation. If your doctor is not concerned then I would be ok (providing you are ok with the information/instructions you get).
I told my dr that I was charting, and that I charted for long time to just get an idea of my cycle (thank you LIF ladies  ). She was glad I did, because she was going to tell me to do this to figure out all the details... so don't think that he would dismiss it.

i think 10 days is fine. mine ranges from 7 to 11. 7 is definitely low.

According to OPK's, I had a 10 day LP for several months. The last two months I have been drinking Red Raspberry Leaf tea and I dont know if its the tea or not but I have had 14 day LPs.

10 is the lowest amount considered normal.
Mine was 10 one month I temped, and the next month I got my bfp! And my progesterone levels are normal - my RE is monitoring them and she didn't need to put me on supplements.

I think 10 day LPs are fine. If you are still concerned I have heard you can take B complex vitamins. I think that is supposed to help lengthen your LP.

10 is OK. mine was always 10 unmedicated. however that combined with the low post-O progesterone COULD signify a low progesterone issue, which is realllllllly minor. if you are concerned ask your dr. for progesterone supplements during the 2WW. most REs give suppositories but if you are seeing a regular ob/gyn i have heard of pills (which are less effective but if your issue isnt huge supps really stink lol!!).

no you would not count today as CD1. if you have full flow tomorrow then that would be CD1, and yes that would mean an 11 day LP.

does 10 day lueteal phase mean...
for example ovulate on cd 14 and 10 days later on cd 24 get af?
if so isnt that kinda early?
confused bc i am doing progesterone in oil bc i am getting afs really early like.... about 7-10 days after iuis....and had chem too..
ty for any info and sorry to jump in!

That's ok! Yes, that's what it means. I usually O on CD 18, and today is CD 29 and I started spotting. So my LP would be 10 days.. but it stopped so now Im not sure.
Im not really familiar with iui's so I cant help much there... Im sorry

A 10 day LP can support a pregnancy. I believe anything shorter than that needs to be addressed. If you are just spotting today than tomorrow would be CD1 making your LP 11 days. I usually have an 11 day LP and was able to get pg with DS.
