Restaurant near Tilles Center (Please dont move to Food/Recipe board)
I need a restaurant recommendation to take my Mom before taking her to a show at Tilles for her bday this weekend.
I asked this Q last week and it got moved to F &R where it got 1 reply. (which ironically happened to be a restaurant that she goes to a lot). I don't know the area at all so anything I pick will be a shot in the dark.
Thank you!!

besito and kotobuki are right down the road in roslyn. and mims in syosset is only a ten minute drive.
if you want to go really fancy you could go to rothmans on the corner of 106 and 25a. also like ten minutes.
peddler is more of a bar- and since it changed ownership the food isnt as good IMO>
enjoy!

there is a new bistro restaurant that opened in the pathmark shopping center in greenvale. Its always crowded, not sure how the food is. Sorry I can't think of the name.

Bar Frites. It is very good. I would recommend it.
