I was thinking for Christmas of cooking a ham in the crock pot since im preggo with twins and i have a 2 year old and well my feet hurt darn it!
so i seen a recipe online to put the ham in the crock pot with syrup and a can of pinapples... i was going to add some brown sugar too...
im kind of new to this crockpot business does this around right to you ladies? i have a 10qt crockpot so i know its large enough...
does it sound tasty? do u have anything similar or alike?

Re: ham in crock pot?
My only concern would be that the ham doesn't get that crispy glaze on it...but I think it could work.

Re: ham in crock pot?
I've never cooked ham in the crockpot, but if you haven't gotten your meat, you might want to try the Carando spiral hams that come in the red foil at the supermarket. They're fully cooked, you just have to pop it in the oven for awhile to heat it. It comes with a brown sugar glaze packet that you just add water too. So easy and really delicious!
