What would you do???
Me and my bff are going out for dinner tonight to my fave restaurant, which happens to have my fave wine, which happens to be 1/2 price tonight.
I am 8-9DPO and tested this morning and got a BFN. My boobs hurt yesterday all day, and last night too, but I'm not sure if they hurt right now. I had some dry CM, and my mouth is very dry (idk if that means anything, I'm just noticing)
I just feel like if I don't drink, and I'm not PG, this will be another month and another time that I missed out on having my fave wine when out with friends (I haven't drank since TTC)
On the other hand, if I am PG, I am not sure I could live with the guilt of knowingly having a drink. I mean I wouldn't overdo it, maybe just a glass.
What would you do?
ets: CM hasn't dried up, it was just dried up on my undies this am, like more then normal (TMI, sorry)

I would have a glass and enjoy. If you are pg, I believe it is still too early to be passing anything on to the baby. And one you get your BFP there will be plenty to give up so treat yourself this one last time

I had quite a few drinks before I got my BFP and so far the baby is just fine! Have a drink! If this is the month you won't be able to have another one for a very looooooooooong time! Enjoy, you deserve it!

Nothing wrong with having a drink during that 2ww.
I drank like a FISH a few days before I got a BFP -- because I had no idea I was preggo and we weren't trying.
You don't share blood with the baby until 6 wks -- so even if you were pregnant, it wouldn't affect the baby at all.
Go for it!

Def have a drink! i went out for drinks with my friend a few days before i got my bfp...
think of it this way!! it could be the last time you have a drink for a while!! enjoy it cuz whne you can't have it you want it more!!

First thing my DH told me to ask the doctor about when I got my BFP was the hard cider I had while we were in Ireland (ONE GLASS, mind you)... I was actually like 5 weeks PG when we were there but didn't know because my cycles were so long and irregular.
My doctor told me that the baby isn't "sharing" with you until 6 weeks, so there's nothing wrong with drinking before you know you're PG.
There is something wrong with letting fine wine and dining with a friend go to waste, though!!! So get out there and enjoy and be confident that there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you're doing!!!!
