Temping
Is it normal to see a big dip early in your cycle? Today is CD6 if I go by regular flow. Otherwise if I went by spotting its CD8. Anyway, my temp was 98.3 then 98 for two days and this morning it dropped to 97.7. Could I be ovulating or is this normal for the beginning of a cycle?

Re: Temping
Some people do O early. Can you use an OPK to check?

Re: Temping
Yeah, I guess that would be the only way to know for sure. Will have to get one.

Re: Temping
your temp shift would be upward to indicate ovulation. Not down. I know its hard but try not to read into the day to day changes... wait for a period of time (like 3 days) to go by and then look at the patterns. It tells a better story.

Re: Temping
If you were taking temps during af that would explain it. Your temps will be higher while you're bleeding. Then they drop to pre-O levels, and rise after you O.
That's why most sources tell you not to temp during AF; it just makes things confusing.

Re: Temping
did you temp during AF? i would just skip AF temps since they fluctuate and tend to be higher than normal pre-O temps. i usually started temping around CD5 each cycle.
