Tender breasts?

If anyone out there is def pregnant, did you NOT feel tender/overly sensitive breasts early on? Meaning the first two weeks?

I read that it's one of the most common signs of pregnancy, but I don't have that symptom. I had a positive test this morning, but should I be thinking I'm not pregnant since I don't feel any difference in my boobies?

Thanks!

Re: Tender breasts?

If you got a BFP -- then you are pregnant!

Do yourself a favor, DO NOT compare yourself with all the symptoms out there that you read about how others are and what not. Every single pregnancy is different and what everyone's symptoms are will differ from person to person.

I've had friends who had no breast tenderness at all and others who had such boob sensitivity that they could barely wear a bra. Symptoms or lack thereof do not make you less pregnant than others.

If you read into people's symptoms and compare them to you, it will drive you nuts. I'm almost 14 wks pregnant and besides some occasional breast tenderness in the beginning, I have pretty much had no symptoms at all. NO m/s, no back pain, no excess cramping, no bloating, no food aversions, no heartburn, and only fatigue sometimes. Meanwhile the pregnancy board is full of ladies who have had tons of this!

Lots of sticky dust for you, I know it can be terrifying when you get the BFP and are worried that it may not stick and you WANT symptoms to make you feel at ease. But try not to overanalyze or you'll wind up going crazy.

Re: Tender breasts?

A positive test is a positive test!!!!!! Sore boobies r a sign but if u don't have em def don't mean u r not preggo...think bout all the people who didn't find out they were preggo till 6 or 8 weeks in..

Don't worry bout symptoms cause u have the proof...a positive test!!!!!

Congrats!!!!!! Happy and healthy 9 months!!!!

Re: Tender breasts?

You should post this on the pregnancy board.....

loads of girls over there will tell you thier boobs weren't sore in the beginning AT ALL and they had NO SYMPTOMS at all either!!!

For some, the symptoms don't kick in until 8-11 weeks... and for others they never even get symptoms.

If you got a postivie on a hpt... then you are pregnant, regardless of how your boobs feel.
