how long did it take with ur 1st
Hey ladies--
for those of u who are not ttc ur first...how long did it take u to get preggers before? I'm feeling kinda down...we r not out this month but been trying for awhile..we r in mid 30's and hoping it wont be too much longer......

I was 32 when I conceived my DD. We started going to the RE in Sept. 2007. I started on Metformin to help regulate my cycles and in December I ovulated on my on. Had an IUI on 1/2/08 and got pregnant. One egg. One IUI.

Now TTC #2 has been a nightmare!!!!! Six failed IUI cycles (all with Clomid) and 3 successful IUI's that all ended in miscarriage. TTC #2 has not been anywhere as easy as we expected it to be.

I got pregnant on the first try for #1.
#2 is a different story. Started in march, have had 2 miscarriages and now on month 4 after the last miscarriage.

It took us 3 months with dd we starting winging it in august then I bought opk in sept then got pregnant in october. We took the same approach this time around but we are currently on month 4 hopefully it won't be too much longer this is sheer torture! ( not the part ofcourse

Its funny..not that all the ing is torture but that too is taking its toll..all the planning around O is stressing my DH out....
but  to us!

I was 31 when DD was conceived, it took DH and I 7 months of TTC

2 months in total. First month we winged it, second month I used an OPK. I was 31 when I concieved. This time is taking much longer, we have been TTC since May

2 months, the first month I didn't track anything so I had no idea when I was supposed to O. We were just winging it. The 2nd month I had a better idea of my cycle and planned accordingly. We got a bfp that month, I was 28 at the time.
