Need opinions please!

My body has been acting very strange this month and I need some help please ladies.

I have always had irregular cycles and have been trying to conceive since July. This month around november 17th I noticed that I had some brown spotting which then became a little red blood. It wasn't a lot at all but lasted 4-5 days so I thought maybe implantation bleeding but I didn't think it would last that long. About 5 days later I took a test and it was a BFN, so I just figured it was a light AF. It was also earlier than normal on CD 34 which I usually get AF around 40 days.

Now two weeks later I am very very crampy, boobs hurt and now am bleeding very heavy like a full on AF!

Can anyone explain this? Sorry so long, thanks!

Have you ever spotted before? My cycles are semi-regular but I have tons of issues with spotting. I typically start spotting a full week before AF comes so in my case it is always hard to determine CD 1 for me.

Sometimes I bleed in the middle of my cycle very lightly so it could just be a funky cycle. If it happens again I would contact my doc and see what they say. In my case my doc seems to think mine has to do with a hormonal imbalance and nothing too serious so I wouldn't worry if it does not happen again.

There is ovulation spotting that happens. Its completely normal. I have very regular cycles and experienced it once in my life. It was brownish for a few days and then clear CM tinged with pink/red blood. This was mid cycle.
It happens to many girls frequently, only once for me but it is compltely normal.
Based on the timing of your cycle, it sounds like that's what is was. Funny how our bodies mess with us when we're TTC!

Thanks for the replies. I still don't know what to make of it because when this happened about 2 weeks ago I guess it could been of ovulation, however I was getting cramps and all the same symptoms as I would of AF but no boob soreness as I usually get.

Also, it wasnt even CM with hints of red blood, the was def actual bleeding, I mean just a little but I still needed to wear a pad for those few days. And I have never spotted during ovulation just sometimes right before AF comes.


I have an appointment with my gyno in January, so I guess I'll find out for sure.
