It's cd42 and I called my Dr
Dr office called me back and said it's very common to have messed up cycles after stopping the pill (and to have spotting) didn't seem concerned that AF wasn't here by cd42. They said to wait it out, keep taking pg tests every once in a while and then call back if AF still doesn't come "in a few weeks." (then if AF still isn't here we'd talk about using meds to bring her on)
come on AF!!!

I know you are antsy, but 42 days is still within the range of a "normal" cycle by some standards.
I think your office would probably want to see you if you get to CD60+ with no AF and no BFP.

To further complicate things, we will be away for Xmas cd65-74 . I will probably call in 2 weeks (cd56ish) to try to schedule an appt before we leave if AF still is not here by then...

So if you don't get it by CD60 you should call the Dr.? I thought 3 months, but I'm sure after 2 months I'd be freaking out even more. Hope it doesn't get to that point.

I've never heard of a 3 month "rule," but when I saw my doc on CD62 he said it was most likely an anovulatory cycle and gave me provera to get AF. I honestly would never have waited 90 days to call the doc. I'm sure every office is different, but my doctor seemed to think 60+ days was more than enough to warrant medical intervention.

hopefully we both get AF before we need to worry about this

No.. I have no idea. I was only tracking CM this month and had what I think was ewcm cd11-14, again (more) on cd25-26, and then a very large amount on cd35 (it's possible this was leftovers  but i've never seen anything like that before or after so it's hard to be certain). Was going to hold off on opks/temping for a few months but now that there is a good chance I am not ovulating I am going to try to start temping next cycle to have more certainty

You know my whole story already. My doctor said 3 months or 90 days and he'd give me provera to make sure I got my period. My doctor had said he doesn't want me going more than 3 months without a period because the excess lining could be a problem. That might be the "3 month rule" someone else referred to.
After that cycle, I was instructed again about having my period within 3 months so the lining didn't build up too much. That time it only took 85 days or so and I got my period on my own. But like I've said, this was well before I was TTC, so I wasn't in any hurry and was trying to avoid extra hormones that weren't absolutely necessary.

Do you feel super bloated too??? I swore I was pregnant because of my stomach. I feel like I've gained 10lbs.
