xpost-Dr. B appt- UPDATE
My first appt w/Dr. B is tomorrow @ 3.
I am a mix of emotions. What can I expect from the 1st appt?
I am so nervous..let the countdown begin..
My appt w/Dr B went great. DH & I really felt comfortable with him. Besides having endo, my periods are regular so he is having me come in next mo on CD3 for an internal & wrote a script for DH for a SA.
I have to say I feel encouraged & motivated once again b/c I was starting to really get tired of the whole TTC process.

don't be nervous! I had my first appt with dr b last week and was nervous too, but there was no reason to be! The first appt will just be a consultation, so he will just ask you some questions about your history and whatever issues you may be having. He will then talk to you about different options and answer any questions you have. He will possibly give u scripts for bloodwork/testing. he didnt actually do any testing for me when i was there.

If you go to Quest, you dont need an appt. Good Luck!!

The same happened with my first RE appt at another doctor.
i did my bloodwork yesterday. it was good to make an appointment because they took me before some others. i was there for 2 hours cuz i had to do the insulin tolerence test! it suked!

For the SA, my DH dropped it off at Quest, but there are only a select few that take it. I called and was told that Syosset was closest. I know many others alsro dropped off at Syosset. You must have an appointment for the SA drop-off.

As for the appointment with Dr. B, you have nothing to worry about. I felt so much better knowing things were being taken care of. It's great to feel like you're moving in the right direction.
