Did I mess up the OPK result?

Please forgive my stupidity, I'm new to this..

I posted yesterday that I was up to CD30 with no luck and I've been testing with FMU... This morning we (a rarity before getting up) then I did the OPK test and got a

Could the fact that we have caused a false smiley?

I'm a pessimist I guess, I was so shocked to see a for the first time and on CD31 no less..
