What are your weight loss challenges?
It could be anything you find to be an issue with losing weight.
For me - I can't get rid of the belly. I'm not overweight by any means - but these last five pounds are sitting in my gut. It doesn't seem like I will ever lose them.
I am a big stress eater. The littlest thing will set me off. A tantrum has me running for the chips. When one boy gets hurt I am shoving ice cream in my mouth. It's bad!!!!
What are some of the reasons you find losing weight to be a challenge?

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
I am completely with you on the baby belly. I only a tiny bit of weight left to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but it all seems to stay right on my belly. After I eat, I get SO bloated that I literally look the way I did when I was 4 months pregnant... it's so upsetting!
I get really bored running. Also, I've been having a lot of ankle pain while running and afterward which makes it really hard.
Finding time is going to be a big challenge when I start my new job.
I have the HUGEST sweet tooth. I love baking and I love cooking. Those are probably my biggest downfalls because I love to be in the kitchen and how can I not eat when I'm making all these yummy goodies???

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
Honestly, the fact that I have 3 other mouths to fill.
I think if I didn't have to stock the house with "stuff" to keep the kids and the hubby happy I'd be in better shape. Even though it's a mix of good and bad stuff, it's still "stuff" that I can shove in my mouth.
If it's there, I'll eat it.

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
i make too many excuses!!
i am active, eat pretty well, work out occasionally. my problem is, i'll get all into a routine, and burn myself out. then i make excuses as to why i'm not going to a class or hitting my treadmill.
"oh..i ate ice cream? i'll just hit the treadmill longer tomorrow..." then tomorrow comes and i don't do it!

Me too. Also having kiddie food/snacks in the house.
Absolutely no time to work out either.

The fact that I love to eat!
For the most part, I eat healthy - but I am terrible with portion control.
Also, the only time I can work out is in the morning but DD does not sleep through the night. So it is hard for me to a get a proper workout in.

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
I think it is weekends and eating out. I eat pretty healthy during the week, but weekends kill me. I end up undoing all the good I did all week and it results in weight maintenance instead of weight loss.

I would say the same for me but, with being on the P90X program for the last 60 days, I don't have cravings. Its weird. I do cheat days every other weekend where I go out to eat and can eat whatever I want, yet the pizza, fries, burgers don't taste as as good as I remebered. I'm hoping this sticks when I'm officially a P90X graduate.

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
The weekends- sometimes I'll just let myself go! I feel like I've been good all week so I overindulge, esp. in terms of desserts and sweets!
I also have a problem with my tummy area- first place I gain, last place I lose!

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
This past month my challenge has been purely been mentally! I have worked thru so many feelings as I am close to goal. It is so much more than pounds etc for me now. I have let alot of toxic stuff go and it's been a painful journey sometimes. I have such a renewed zest for life and first and foremost I love myself like I have not done for awhile!
I have to say I'm scared, nervous and also so excited to get on with my new life all the way around!!!
The best gift I can give myself is my health and well being! I never want to have a huge weight loss to deal with ever again!

I have a sweet tooth, I love to eat junk, and I let my appetite rule my eating rather than real hunger.

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
Right now, my biggest challenge is that we're renovating the kitchen, so I've been without a fully-functioning kitchen for about a month now. I'm able to use bits and pieces here and there....but I tend to get OCD and can't function in a mess, so I'd rather not use it when it's out of order.
Other than that, my love of baking makes it difficult! But I seem to be able to handle that better lately.
Once the kitchen is back, I hope to get back on the weight loss train!

Re: What are your weight loss challenges?
I have let myself get so overweight that it is difficult to exercise. It hurts physically and has a devastating emotional effect. And guess what? I'm an emotional eater.. it's a vicious cycle.
