Help! So tired of waiting.....
I'm at the point that I just want to scream!   I had a failed IVF cycle back in September. I got AF on time right after the IVF but the following cycle lasted for 36 days!  It turns out that I ovulated really late during that cycle and I confirmed that through a blood test.
But the fun didn't end there. I'm currently on CD16 of the second cycle following the failed IVF and still no ovulation - I normally ovulate on CD11 or CD12. I need to ovulate and then start counting days again to start Estrogen patches for my second IVF cycle.
What is wrong with me? I always got AF and always ovulated like clockwork. It seems that all this fertility work messed up my body beyond belief.... Has anybody ever been through anything like this? It's been my second messed up cycle post failed IVF. I'm impatiently counting the days like a mad woman to get started on my next IVF cycle and none of the days are adding up to what they are supposed to.
Please share any similar experiences....Could it be that the Lupron permanently shut down my system? I was sooooo afraid of that medication....

My cycle coming off the meds is always longer than usual. It is normal. I think the following cycle was a little later, but not that much. GL!

I hear you. I feel like all I do is count days to determine when something is going to happen. I just had my first failed IVF cycle and just got AF. I was told to start BC though, but I have to go through a fresh cycle. We won't be doing a fresh transfer though because my dr thinks I have a better chance with a FET, so I'm looking at a transfer in February. The waiting is horrible.
The waiting is terrible, but it will get there. I think the meds do mess you up, but definitely not permanently. Everything just takes forever with IF.

Pre IF treatments i had a CLOCKWORK 28 day cycle, O on CD13 or 14, now forget it, i never have a CLUE as to what is going on in there And its impossible to keep track. Best advice ask to go in for a sono and bw to determine where you are at in your cycle. Sometimes thats the only way to know for sure.

I was all messed up. I don't know if it was the upon or what but yes u sound like me. I failed two next month AF on time but month after long cycle 39 days who knows when I ovulated. This crap does mess u up a bit. Sorry hun. Hang in there
