What gives?

I have had irregular periods since I started having my period at 14. I have no idea when I am ovulating so I thought I would try the OPK's. Well, since my periods are long (8-9 days of bleeding), I started using the OPK's on day 12. I have tested everyday since then (I am now on day 27) and I have yet to get a positive. Am I just not ovulating? Are the tests on working?

This is only my first month of trying but already, it has been very stressful.

if you have always had irregular cycles then maybe you O much later? how many days are your cycles usually? i read that if you count back 14 days from the last day of your previous cycle then you should get an idea of when you O...

I switched to the Clearblue digital midmonth, so I wondering if I missed my o day because I was using the First Response. There was a point a few weeks ago when I thought I might be because I thought I had CM, but I didn't get a positive.

I was going to suggest you try acupuncture. I have PCOS and had very irregular periods like 4 months no period/no ovulation.

I decided to give acupuncture a shot and after two weeks of going, I got AF and ovulated!!!!

about 2 months later i was preg!!! Now I go once amonth so relax me and prepare my womb!!

no but seriously I love it!!! i go to lighthouse wellness center, Cariann is such an awesome person to be around she is so positive and upbeat and filled with advice. She was always confident she could help me and she certainly did!!

I am actually due around her birthday!!!!

I am sure there is something she can do! what i loved the most is that it is all natural, no drugs!!

I'm sorry, that stinks. I had the same problem--sometimes going up to 3 months without a period--until my DS was born, and then, miracle of miracles, I had a regular 5 week cycle! Until 2 months ago. Now it's back to LOOOONG cycles.

Anyway, I would keep using the OPKs. I had all but given up on this month, and just got my positive yesterday, which was CD 34.

They do not hurt at all!!!!! they put you to sleep!!!! its different from getting a shot. they don't go in deep at all!!! You really should try it!!! it works wonders!!!! I am proof!!!

No af for 4 months!!!!!!!!

I didn't want to take medication and I ended up not needing it!!

I am going today I can't wait!!!!!


the opk kits did nothing for me at all.... except make me more crazy!!! and being stressed isn't going to help you get preg!!!

i never had irregular cycles... so cant help with that... but its definitely possible that you just missed your O day...

if you want to know for sure you will have to start temping

if u dont have any issues with ovualtiona nd u def O on ur own i would def suggest temping so u can figure out exactly when u do
