My husband and I have been TTC for 1 year now (3 months on clomid and nothing) and decided to go ahead and see a fertility specialist. We are not getting any younger...LOL! Hubby is 47 and I am 38. I have a 14 year old child from a previous relationship. Had all my blood test done (waiting for result), hubby had sperm count (waiting for result) and I had my hysterosalpingogram yesterday (everything good there...YAY!). We will know which course of action to take (IUI or IVF) after all the results are in next week. I find that the waiting is the worst...ahhhh! Also, I am not looking forward to the hormone injections : ) I am a scary cat!
It is very frustrating to see all my friends getting prego right away without trying much(many blessings to them) but I still can't help it but to feel some anger at times. It goes away fast and I am glad for them, but sometimes is difficult for me.
Is anyone "on the same boat" as me? Any experiences?
