Anyone here go to Dr. Trivedi in Islip?

I was referred to this OB/gyn by my family practitioner and want to know if he or she is highly recommended or not.
It's so hard trying to find one that I like.

Dr Trivedi is a he, and I went to him in 09 when I had DS. He is really nice and VERY accomodating (I worked in NYC so my hours were only very late and they always stayed open for me) its a very small practice (it's only him, may have changed now but as far as I know its the same way). It's decently clean, right in town which was nice for me b/c I lived very close. I've actually been able to personally talk to him on the phone (I had spotting at work one day and freaked out called from NYC). I've called the office numerous times (like when I got goat cheese on my salad and didn't know if I could eat it lol) and they were always very nice. Overall I would definately recommend him.

I go to Dr. Trivedi as do many of my friends. We all him. He's really great. However, I almost left his practice a few weeks ago because he is getting very busy and I had appointments cancelled on me and it made me nervous. But after my most recent visit, I decided to stay.

I just made an appt. with his NP or PA (cant remember what they said) for the beginning of Dec. based on a recommendation from here. I will let you know how it goes, but I can say that the receptionist that I spoke to was very, very nice and I always think that says something for a doctor's practice. You tend to deal a lot with the receptionists/nurses, so it does matter how they are in terms of efficiency, professionalism etc. My first impression, before the actual appt., is a good one.

Dr Trivedi is wonderful. I don't go to him, but he is a good friend o my sis and BIL (who are also OBGYNs) He works with my BIL and I have friends who use him and they all love him!

I have been going to him for approx 4.5 yrs now. I love him. He is a wonderful dr. His entire staff is great.
