Help me find this recipe

I have been dying to try this recipe that calls for french fried onions. So I finally remember to buy them.

I can't remember what the hell recipe it was, where I found it, nothing. It has to be something relatively popular and current.

And no, nothing in the current issue of Food Network magazine, that was just a weird coincidence.

Have you seen anything lately that calls for french fried onions???

Green bean casserole?

french onion chicken? (like fried chicken cutlets only with french fried onions instead of breadcrumbs and baked)

pioneer woman's restaurant style smashed potatoes

No, it's definitely not the green bean casserole. I thought that it was a PW recipe but I don't think it was those mashed potatoes.

is it the recipe that has you crush the onions to use as breading on chicken?

I love breading my chicken cutlets with them. Soooo good! I honestly dont use them for anything else since Im not a big casserole fan. If you cant remember the recipe, def try chicken cutlets.
