Yes, right?

FOr example, if I had a D&C on DC 18 of a 25 day cycle, should I still expect AF on schedule?

Re: After D&C, is cycle affected?

that all depends on the individual.

some get AF 4 weeks after a DNC, others 6 weeks... some 8 weeks.

it's all over the place. I can't remember if AF came 4 or 6 weeks after my DNC. I think I blocked it out of my mind...

no one can really predict that for you.

sorry about your DNC. Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am sorry that you had a D & C. I had one too last winter. I think AF came 6 weeks after the procedure. Good luck!

Re: After D&C, is cycle affected?

I believe I had 2 anovulatory cycles after my D & C due to a missed miscarriage in July. I got my period 5 weeks after my procedure then my next period was 5 weeks after that. This is my first "normal" cycle. I think that was due to stressing myself out about getting pregnant right away. Good luck...sorry you had to have a D & C.
