Do you plan ahead?

For instance... if you know there's a wedding coming up this summer. It's you IL's close family friend. People you don't see a ton, but MIL's best friend would you make any change in TTC?

I know it's a weird question, but say for instance I did get a BFP and checked a calender and realized I'd be due around the time of this wedding would it make any difference to you?

My MIL's niece also just got engaged last weekend and we found out they're planning a wedding in the summer and MIL keeps saying she hopes it not the same date and her friend's daughter so if I was prego it would be in July and for some reason I think that would bother my IL's that they could possibly miss a wedding.
Maybe I'm thinking too much into this

It depends how close i am with the person...

the reason i didnt actually try in August is because i would have been due very close to my cousins wedding and i am in the BP...

so we waited till September... which would put me about a month and a half after her wedding... if i didnt lose the baby i would have been due 2 weeks before my other cousins wedding... Shaun is actually in the wedding... i would have been sad to miss it but not enough to change my ttc plans....

Not really but I definitely think about it. Not so much for specific events but more so for certain times.

We have a boat and the thought being pregnant in the summer irks me. I watched our BFF be pregnant all summer on the boat and she was MISERABLE so I was praying to get pregnant in September. Oh well. I also don't want a December baby so I think about that too.

Honestly, I just need to stop being so picky and take what I can get.

Stressed about this at first, but my DH who is way more level-headed than me said there will always be something, and you can't put your life on hold. So, we are just going to see what happens and deal with it when the time comes

I would hate to be so pregnant and be so hot in the summer, but it would really work out with maternity leave since I am a teacher. I know I will definitely plan ahead once I get my BFP and I'm in the "clear."

Thanks Ladies! I'm not so much thinking about the summer b/c you never know when and if when TTC. I just am hoping not to get IL's upset b/c when looking at a calender it would be in the summer when they have two big weddings. One isn't even planned yet.
This is all IF BTW... that's all
