TTC'ing and BFing is this even a reality?
Ok so I've *heard* of ppl getting pregnant while BFing, but I'm a little skeptical ... has anyone here gotton pregnant while bfing? Curious if it happened during the beginning of bfing or towards/past the 1 year mark??

Hi there, didn't happen to me personally, but happened to my SIL. She was EBF & got pregnant 2.5 months after having my first niece. My 2 nieces are 1 year and a week apart.

I know lots of women, in various stages of the BF process, that have gotten pregnant while BF.

Yes, it's a reality! It just hasn't been for me  My sister got pg while BFing. I saw the nurse practioner in my OB's office last week and she said that I couldn't count that I have been trying since May since I was still BFing at the time. I do not agree with her at all. I am seeing my OB tomorrow and I will discuss it with him. I'll let you know what he says

I know someone who this happened to. She said that one day the nips hurt more than usually and then she knew right away.

Ok good to know, b/c all the ppl I've heard got pregnant it was in the early stages of BFing DC #1, like the two kids would be 15 months apart. Just was wondering if it could happen at a later time too. There is hope

Well its not a reality for me either lol and I'm still bfing 4x a day sooo.......we'll see but I've been a little discouraged so far, hence my postl
