Fertility Test for the guys
Hi Everyone...
We've been TTC off and on for about a year now and I have had all of the necessary tests done.. Doc wants to talk about me going on clomid but before I do, DH wants to get tested. Do you know how we go about doing that? Is it through our regular doc?

Your OB should be able to write a prescription for an SA.

Your gyno may be able to give him a script or he can try his regular doctor. If you don't need referrals to see specialists he can always just go to a urologist.

My DH just did this and we should get the results this week. My OB gave me a script for him. He had to drop off at North Shore in Manhasset within 1.5 hours of..........!

you get a script and depending on where you go they have different stipulations.
We did this at Quest and they want the semen in half hour after. So he can do his business and then drop it off. You have to get a sterile cup... which I found to be a PITA to find!!!
All in all.. it's a fairly easy process.
