What's your favorite herb?
Dried or fresh, do you have a favorite? Mine is a tie between basil (fresh or dried) and red pepper flakes. I literally put these two on EVREYTHING!

i love red pepper flakes too. They go on EVERYthing.
Salt too. But I love fresh parsley and fresh dill. Dill in brothy soups is amazing

me too! Although I also love parsley and use it more often bc I cook Italian more.

i love all fresh herbs!
basil is definitely one of my favorites
i also put red pepper flakes on everything!
if we're talking spices and stuff too... i LOVE fresh cracked (not ground) pepper! that's also something that goes on EVERYTHING for us!
rosemary, thyme, dill, oregano... yum!

Completely agree.
If I was at gunpoint for some bizarre reason and HAD to answer.. I'd probably say Basil or Rosemary because I love the scent of both.

but its tought i use lots of cilantro, rosemanry, thyme, parsley, oregano... i love them all!

I love cilantro most as well! Especially for Indian cooking!

Hard to pick a favorite - it all depends upon the dish.
I don't like basil - the taste nor the smell of it.
I love dill - in cucumber salad, zucchini fritters, on boiled yukon potates with butter. Yum.
Fresh rosemary and thyme, mixed with chopped garlic, kosher salt and olive oil, used as a rub on a pork loin.
The same mix used to make roasted potatoes.
A simple salad of tomatoes, dressed with olive oil, salt and fresh thyme.
Oh, oregano and marjoram. So many uses and smells so great.
I'm getting hungry.....

I always have basil growing in my aerogarden. i think thats my favorite. I also love chives, sage, and arugula. Cilatro is great too - but that failed in my aerogarden. I like most herbs - it just depends what i am putting them in.
