thank you
i am an infrequent poster but in recent months posted fairly regularly on this board. i just wanted to come on (under my fakie name) to thank you all so much for your wonderful responses throughout my TTC process. there were so many times i was confused, frustrated, sad, worried and whenever i posted i always got such caring and thoughtful responses. it meant to much and i wanted to make sure everyone knew that.
i finally got my BFP yesterday. i got my first really truly positive on the line opk at CD47  we BD that night and the night after and on 11dpo i got a faint line on the fRER which i confirmed with a digital. i am so happy, excited, scared and nervous all at once.
because i always loved to read other peoples stories of what they did differently this month, here's mine: i drank red raspberry leaf tea from early september to early october and took vitex during the same period. i also wore a st gerard medal and prayed to him pretty regularly. additionally, i took my prenatal and an extra folic acid pill.
anyway, just wanted to say thank you so much for all the help and advice. and for those with long cycles like mine: take heart. it will still happen.

Congrats! I have been thinking about taking vitex and your post just gave me the push to go out and get it!
Would you mind sharing what brand and dosage you took? What made you take it? I have pcos, so I'm hoping it will bet me to ovulate on my own.

i took a brand i found at whole foods called natures way. i decided to take it from what i read on this site. i have really no clue if it did anything or not because i only took it for a month and the package says it works slowly and may take up to three months to help regulate your cycle.
all i know is i got one smiley face in july on CD 29 and didnt get another one til CD 47 in october.
anyway, i have been following your story and i wish you so much luck and happiness. thanks for being such a kind poster.
