if you take 2 pills a day, can you take them together or it has to be separate times of the day? thanks

I take 2 and take one in the am and one in the pm. I always assumed I had to, but I'm guessing that's not true?

Ditto. Are you just starting Metformin? If so, you might want to start out with one pill. The side effects on your tummy can be gruelsome, but they go away after some time.
