Can anyone recommend an OB?
Hello!
I am new to this site and just moved to Port Jeff Station. I was hoping to go to Stony Brook Hospital and find a really good OB for when we start trying soon, but I dont know the area too well yet.
Anyone have one that they LOVE in the area???

I have a great Dr. they have offices in stony brook and smithtown and they deliver at stony brook. he is also board certified which was important to me

he is amazing! I just moved to the same area as you and I wanted a dr that deliverd at stony brook but they had to be board certified. I work in commack so its great that they have an office in smithtown because I can go on my lunch hour
their office staff is soooo friendly and nice and the best part is THEY RUN ON TIME!!!! I haven't met any of the other Dr's in the group but my MIL has been going there for years and she likes them all!
there are a lot of dr's that deliver there, but I did a lot of research and a good amount of them are not board certified. since it was a new dr to me, I wanted that. if I already was a patient there and I had a lot of trust in the dr already, I would have been ok with them not being board certified.

Thank you! I am so new to the idea of TTC and finding a new dr that I didnt even think of them being board certified. Thank you for the info! Ill see if my insurance is covered there! Hopefully

Dr. Porte...Stony Brook OBGYN in E. Setauket. I also like Dr.O'Keefe in that practice.
