Anyone want to complain about how tired they are....if so, COME ON DOWN

Here goes. I am soooo tired. I can barely move my fingers to type this. My eyes have matchsticks in them to hold them open. I haven't had a full nights sleep since the end of April.

Last night I might have slept for 3 or 4 hours...tonight will probably be around the same.

Tonight, we started to put Noah to bed at around 6.45pm and guess what...he only just fell asleep...its 11.22pm.
Guess what was wrong...teething.
Guess who he wanted to hold him...me.
Guess how much he screamed and cried...a lot.
Guess what I have to do now...clean up for my inlaws and have one last pump before bedtime.
Guess if he will sleep all night...probably not. Guess where he sleeps...IN MY BED.
Guess how I ate my dinner of lovely chinese food...with one hand.

Racheeeee out.

So sorry sweetie - I am going through the same thing right now. How I am even still standing is beyond me.

I'll complain...I havent had a full nights sleep since sometime in january - during my last month of pregnancy I had to get up to go to the bathroom about three times a night, then the last week of pregnancy I got really bad itching which kept me up every night until I gave birth, then I have birth to my DD who for the first three months woke every 21/2 hours at night and since then she wakes every 3....

TIRED..........I am way past that...I am a complete zombie..I take care of my DD daughter all day AND work full time from home....by the time she gets to bed and I get all the other things done that need to be taken care of its nearly midnight and it all starts again.................

I was soooooooooooo tired today I made a reservation for one of my bosses and when the guy asked if it was male or female I answered male...although it should have been female....I only realised this about an hour ago when I looked at the reservation.....

Arent you glad you asked??good timing as I needed to vent.....

The only thing that keeps me going is my stash of cadburys in the freezer

I'll complain too...After harboring a resentment that my DH was in Germany sleeping soundly for 8 days while I tended to 3 kids under 4, including a 3 week old, he comes home and goes to bed early. You know I got his a** out of bed for the middle of the night feedings. Of course he doesnt burp the baby properly and he ends up with gas so I had to get up and handle him. Then 2 days later he goes back to work overnight and my 2 year old ends up with a 101 fever and throws up in the night in her bed and is inconsolable for hours (Wed night). Thankfully the baby stayed asleep but I literally climbed into bed for 10 minutes and I hear the wailing of the hungry newborn. The next night when he is home, all is quiet except I tried to get 8 loads of laundry done, including the piles of his dirty stuff that was parked next to the washer, still in the suitcase to boot!! Our central air is still not hooked up b/c of the stupid town's permit, I have no curtains on my windows, my daughter keeps playing with the garbage in the kitchen and tonight I also had a mosquito the size of Texas in my bedroom. I havent eaten a decent meal - or had the appetite for one - in days, maybe even more than a week. I just want to sleep somewhere and be left alone for a few days...it can only get better, right?

ETA: And I have the beginnings of a nasty toothache. Need to get to the dentist ASAP. I have chest congestion which is hopefully not my pneumonia from March coming back...at least I got to the podiatrist this morning.

Me too....Hayley is has a tooth coming thru and has a bad cough. The last 3 nights she has slept in my arms in my bed...I have been hit in the face numerous times and kicked in the stomach. I slept about 4 hours on and off last night.

I truly have not slept through the night in 7 years. My kids are horrible sleepers. I am alwasy exhausted but it has become my "baseline". I take care of my 3 kids, work, take care of EVERYTHING in the house, and I am most times a walking zombie, I love when i hear someone complain that they are tired when I know they at least slept through the night for at least the past week and don't have 3 kids to take care of On top of this, i was just offered a very high powered job at the hospital where I work and i am freaking myself out thinking about how additionally exhausted I will be from running this emergency/crisis clinic. I need to hibernate . Thanks for this post, I think we coud all use this sometimes. to all you amazing Mommies!!
