Seriously why is everything a waiting game?!
Don't we go through enough?! On Thursday dr b deemed my pregnancy a chemical, now I'm just sitting around waiting to start bleeding! I go back to check my levels tmrw but just needed to vent!!

I am in the same boat as you. The waiting is the worst. Although he didnt mention to me a repeat beta this time...he just said wait till you get your period. What was your hcg #?

10/21 - 200's I don't remember exact number bc I was so upset
He told me he needed to check again to make sure they were going down. I do know he has to make sure that it's not tubal even though that's not common with ivf. He said as long as it's still going down it's Ok.

Dh and I are debating on if we should take a break for the holidays and restart fresh again next year. A huge part of me thinks i NEED a break to remain sane, the other part hears the TICK TOCK and feels so much pressure to get back on the IVF horse again. I have a few consults scheduled and I will be choosing between Cornell and SIRM before continuing.
Was this your first IVF? Have you guys talked about your future plans yet?

I'm so sorry you are going through this...I've never experienced a chemical pregnancy - at least not to my knowledge-but I can only imagine how frustrating it must be.... As far as waiting is concerned, if there's something that I've learned from IF and TTC in general is that it's mostly waiting for AF to come....waiting for ovulation.... waiting to test.....waiting to start the estrogen patches....waiting to start stimming.....blah blah blah

This is what we are doing. For mental health and financial reasons. But part of me SO wishes that i could just start my next cycle right away.

This was my second ivf. I did prep for 3/4 FET cycles before this transfer but they all had to be cancelled for one problem or another. I'm not taking a brake, I feel like everything takes so long I just want to keep going. I Sony think I'd enjoy the " time off" knowing that I could be prepping for another fresh cycle. I feel like if I start again right away then atleast I'm doing something, ya know? We started trying in June 2008 so I'm getting really impatient at this point lol. I do have a 4 1/2yr old son ( who I feel so lucky to have!) and I feel like they are already going to be farther apart in age than I thought. It's all so frustrating! I did take a break from January-April of this year, but it was to have knee surgery, sone break huh lol. I think we should all have a gtg, no one is better to vent to than a fellow TTC/infertility lady! Was this your guys first ivf?
