Is this strange? Because I am scratching my head right now...
I almost never volunteer for things at DS's school. I'm ashamed to say it, but I just don't.
However, this year he is in 5th grade, I am a SAHM while unemployed. At Meet the Teacher Night, I realized there was a Yearbook Committee. At my previous job as a teacher, I also ran the yearbook for 3 years, so I have LOADS of experience. I signed up, and wrote the teacher a note seperately saying I wouln not mind taking the lead on it, since I had a lot of experience. She never wrote back, and I heard nothing since. This is like a month ago.
Today, DS comes home from school with an envelope for me. In it are the sign up shhets for the yearbook committee from the Meet the Teacher night, and the business card for the photography place that does the school's pictures. That's it.
Is this strange? What does she expect me to do with this? I don't know how many pages their book is, what the deadlines are, what software they use, nothing.
Obviously I'm calling the school tomorrow, but until then I'm left
