Getting nervous
I just finished my first month of prenatals..its exciting that after this box I will probably think about TTC, however, I realized this morning that I am beginning to get cold feet. All I can think about for the month part is babies...so I know that means I am ready. Financially we are def ready (have a large savings and can afford for me to go part time and take 6 months off).
Its just I always keep wondering..omg am I mentally ready for this. Am I ready for this little person to be around 24/7 for the next 18 years. Will I regret this....i know that things will be different when I see the little one for the first time. Plus everyone always says oh your so young (even know im 25 and DH is 27) and we hardly ever party!

Re: Getting nervous
well i think its a huge step so its normal to get nervous and have some doubts, but if u are financially secure and you want a baby then i think you should def go for it.

Re: Getting nervous
i felt the same way...
i was on prenatals, stopped bcps and i was still nervous. even though becoming a mom is all i could think about i was still petrified about trying
the first time we tried (winged it - no protection) my heart was POUNDING that is how nervous i was. i felt like while we were my heart was pounding in my ears my DH is the one who was like let's just do it, let's go for it...seeing that he was ready made me less nervous but i won't lie i was still nervous and wondering if it was a good idea or not ...then we finished and it felt very surreal - like did we just do that?!?! i was so happy i cried...then it felt like i came to my senses and i panicked for like 5 minutes but then the feeling went away. the next morning i woke up incredibly happy. i couldn't stop smiling for a week. not b/c i thought i was pregnant or anything like that - but b/c i was okay with the fact that i might be. the pancic was gone and i was so content. it wasn't until we actually went for it that i realized how ready i was.
i think everyone is different but at some point i think we all want it so badly that the nerves subside and we feel more ready.
the day i poas and get a bfp i'll probably but for now i am not nervous anymore...
don't worry, you will get there...i would post almost the same thing as you a few months ago

Re: Getting nervous
I was not ready for a long time.. I always said "when the desire overcomes the fear" that's when I'll be ready. I don't think anyone is ever 100% ready.. there's always doubts/fears... it's just when you want it more than you fear it... that's when you're ready... for me anyway
