What is good at Trader Joe's?
I am a Whole Foods girl, but just started trying Trader Joe's. What do you recommend? I tried a few frozen items and was sort of disappointed. Though the prices at TJ are much better than at WF.

They have good cheese at very good prices.
I like their frozen microwaveable brown rice.
I like their pork loins - they are smaller and good for 2-3 people.
I like buying frozen veggies from there and also frozen berries.

Pumpkin butter! It's delish!
Their cheese selection is great.
Can't beat the prices on their cereal.
Heirloom tomatoes
Indian veggie burgers
Frozen French toast
Their bread is 
House-brand Greek yogurt
Gnocci (in the pasta aisle - not frozen)

What everyone else said, and their Bean and Rice Burritos are SOOOOOO good!!!
My kids love their version of Pirate Booty.
The dehydrated fruit.
The organic chicken.

I love this appetizer thing it is gorgonzola cheese with crushed walnuts and craisins on top. I always keep one in my freezer take it out for company with crackers/grapes/nuts whatever. It is always a big hit! I think there is sundried tomato and pesto one too.

* chips
* cereal
* sauce--they have a great selection of red sauces, caponata, tapenade, and other fancy italian stuff like that. they also have great asian sauces & dips.
* pasta
* i second the cheese!
* candy/snacks are delicious.
* edamame at a decent price
* salsa

I want to add that they have great prices on frozen appatizers and hor dourves which are great for parties. Much cheaper and better selection than the supermarket for those things.

Those are just a few of my TJ staples...
I can't help with most of the frozen or prepared foods, b/c we keep somewhat kosher in our home, so I can't buy the meat products.

Persian cucumbers (little crunchy baby cucs...so good!)
I also just bought: frozen fontina rice balls, frozen chocolate and regular croissants, gorgonzola gnocchi, eggplant/zucchini melange, dark chocolate covered crystallized ginger

those are just the staples i pick up from there so many other items i buy when there is something new to try.
