lube?
do any of you use lube or is it bad for DH's spermies?
we "tried" to BD last night and it wasn't working out for me even though i felt like i was in the mood. so disappointing lol.

i believe pre-seed is the only lube that wont kill the spermies
i have never used it but plenty of girls on here have.

The only lube that is safe for sperm is Pre and Preseed.
You can buy it online or at CVS.

that is what i thought, but i could never find anything that says that saliva will destroy all the sperm

I figure saliva is for breaking down food and part of digestion...it can't be good for them.

Astroglide is not safe for sperm. I found this out after using it for 4 month when we first started TTC. Below is a snippet of an article I read.....
"Specifically, there have been at least 11 studies on this topic conducted in Medical school settings, reviewing the effect of 16 different lubricants on sperm, including all of the top selling brands, such as KY, Astroglide and Replens. In each study, sperm motility and viability were dramatically reduced after exposure to even small concentrations (<10%) of these products."

Saliva CAN be "harmful" to sperm It's not like a spermicide though. I've been told that as long as your DH has no known sperm issues, you really shouldn't have any problems. Honestly, I don't know how we could  that much without a little foreplay - kwim?!
