completely random BD/TTC question
do you think it matters whether or not you O? ( and no i ain't talkin about ovulate)
i would have to think that will all of the contracting that takes place when you do, it maybe helps pull the spermies up there (or alternatively, pushes them out)?
anyone? thoughts? discuss!

i have read that some people think the contractions in ur uterus during an O will help the spermies travel but other people say thats just an old wives tale. who knows!

According to the Shettles method...
they recommend if you're trying for a boy that you have the woman O. if you try for a girl that you DON'T have the woman O.
and if you're up on how shettles works... you'd know that if you're trying for a boy that you want the boys to get as much of a head start as possible. so i would assume that science says that the woman orgasming would give them a boost upwards.

I think the reason the Shettles method doesn't want the woman to O when trying for a girl, is that when a women O's it raises the acidity in her vagina. The acidity after an O makes it a hostile environment for female sperm. Male sperm do okay with acidity.

To be honest I am having a hard time O when TTC due to the pressure. The one time I got PG I only BD once that month and did O so maybe it worked for me. This will be my goal of the week!!!!! :)

Yeah I completely forgot about the acidity thing.
But even still, bear... it would technically boost them all but the boys are faster swimmers and they'd get there sooner.
