Lumps under skin from PIO

I have been on PIO for about 7 weeks (I am 9 weeks pg) and am developing lumps under the skin from them.

I do the heating pad before and after and "rub" it in.

I am just wondering if these will eventually go away or what....

I have my first obgyn appt tonight and hopefully will get the ok to go off them at 10 weeks.

I had them also and I found that if I heated the injection and the injection area it was better. But it took weeks fot the bumps to go away.

Yes, I started to develop very big lumps and at the very end a rash. Nothing helped. I'm allergic to the oil (sesame and peanut). Thankfully, I switched to a gel and then eventually was off it altogether.

Hopefully, you'll be released from it soon. I know how uncomfortable it can be. Chat Icon
