I think he's great! He's very thorough and will get to the bottom of things. He does have a very dry sense of humor, so I had to realize when he was joking....
Good luck!!!

Re: Dr. Braverman patients....
During our first appt we sat down and talked about our history etc. Dr. B was great..he knew when we were tense and would crack a joke to help us loosen up. He discussed all the possibilities of what issues we could have and told us what he would do to test for them. I had bloodwork and a sono that day and within a few days had some results and a some sort of plan.
Bottom line is I left his office the first day feeling really excited to get started!

Re: Dr. Braverman patients....
im a huge Dr. B fan. here is how i would describe him. basically there are very few people you meet in life that are true experts at what they do. there are also very few people (doctors especially) that truly care about what they do and are super compassionate and go out of their way to go to the extra mile for you. dr. B is both of those put together. true, he doesnt present like a doctor, always wearing jeans and regular casual clothes. and he jokes around a lot (which DH and I both love). but he has an excellent bedside manner and always makes you feel at ease. he treats every patient like you are the most important patient by being UBER accessible. he answers emails at all times of the day/night/holiday. he once called me on New Years Day at 6pm to review my DHs SA. he really truly cares. i have been seeing him for almost a year and I am not pregnant. i have had 2 chemicals in that time and have done a total of 6 medicated cycles with him. its been tough and now i am moving to IVF with him. but i really can't think of anyone else (besides DH and my mom) that I trust more than Dr. B!!
ETA - as for the first appointmetn, i did bloodwork and sono and a half hour consult. not long after the appointment he confirmed i have PCOS (which he pretty much said from the beginning and i was expecting) and we had a plan. i was sad to discover that i had an issue, but Dr. B has been there the entire time to encourage me that I will indeed get pregnant.

Re: Dr. Braverman patients....
Another Dr. B fan here. My first appointment we went over my history and my giant file from previous RE. We talked for over and hour and a half discussing the various issues he suspects were my problem and most importantly the solutions to those problems. I don't remember if they did any bloodwork or sono that day, but he did send me and DH for a workup (mostly immunological for me). I left there feeling so overwhelmed with all of the information thrown at me, but at the same time confident that we will be successful soon. The next morning I had an email from Dr. B. summarizing our entire conversation, and attachments with articles he was referencing duing our appointment. You are definitely headed in the right direction by seeing him. He is truly a wonderful person and great at what he does. Good Luck!!!!
