another prenatal Q
I recently started taking the Rite Aid prenatals and bought 2 bottles of 100 pills each (about a 6 month supply). Do you take the same prenatals while TTC as while pregnant? I saw on the pregnancy board that a lot of people take prescription prenatals.

Re: another prenatal Q
I think those are fine for now. I take CVS brand, LOL!!
When you are PG the doc will then give you a script for prenatals.

Re: another prenatal Q
i think that regular vitamins are not regulated or something - so i do not think there is a guarantee that every pill is the same....prescription every vitamin should be the same....at least that is what i think that is the difference between them...
the midwife i saw gave me Rx for prenatals...

Re: another prenatal Q
My OB said OTC pills were fine. I just was getting sick from them once I was PG. I tried literally 15 different samples of pills they gave me in my "welcome to pregnancy" package at my OB's office and chose the one that I liked the most. It's way too expensive, though, and I plan to go back to OTC ones as soon as the baby's born (since you're supposed to continue them while BF).

Re: another prenatal Q
I am also on the RiteAid prenatals and I love them! Im assuming that those are fine while you are TTC but once you get pregnant Dr. may want to put you on something else.
