What do you use to comb your hair after shower?
Can you ladies post a pic of (or explain) the type of comb/brush you use while your hair is wet?
I know you're supposed to use a comb. I use a brush that has spread out bristles and it's VERY soft. I was thinking maybe I'm not using the right thing though since I know every magazine stresses using a comb when it's wet.

This kind of comb gets caught in my hair.. it doesn't just glide through. I always feel like I'm doing damage 
I always assumed the paddle brush was the wrong thing to use but I used it anyway  It just got me thinking that maybe that's the reason I've been having breakage Between that and the occasional flat iron, who knows

Paddle brush. The woman who does my hair says a comb isn't good because it doesn't have any "give" so it tends to break your hair more whereas the paddle brush has a cushioned back with more "give". I used to use a comb and have noticed such a difference since I switched to a paddle brush.

I use something with boars hair bristles and plastic bristles to get out the tangles and smooth my hair.

Wow I didn't realize there would be so much variety here! I thought almost everyone would just respond by saying they use a regular comb, nothing special! I wanna look into that wet brush!

I just use my husband's round brush w/ plastic bristles...but my hair is very short and doesn't get very tangled.

Me too. I use a pick in the shower while the conditioner is still in my hair. After I towel dry I run a paddle brush through it.
