today i feel like im regretting my decision
to postpone TTC till march! Sometimes it stinks being a grown up and having to make grown up decsions

I remember you mentioning something about postponing for weddings and I'm not sure what else - but ultimately you have to prioritize what's important to you.
Personally if it were ME, I wouldn't put off ttc because of an event.. even a wedding.. even if it was a close family member's wedding. I know I have to live my life and there's no guarantee WHEN you will get pregnant! I started trying last November and STILL trying. So, you really can't base what may or may not happen soon ... around around all these events. If you think about it like that, it will never be the right time to start.

 ITA! Having another child is obviously very important to you and who knows how long it will actually take (tho I hope it doesnt) If I were in your shoes I would continue to TTC regardless of any events happening in the upcoming year. Thats just my opinion tho

I agree with the girls. You shouldn't put your life on hold for other people. DH and I wanted to start trying last year but kept putting it on hold for reasons like weddings, vacations, etc. We finally were like this is enough we can't keep doing this. If we do we will never have a family..haha Something always comes up.

As I have said to you before I put off TTC for various things and I don't regret it but I will say it was sad thinking that I wanted to be pregnant but knew for a slew of reasons it wasnt the best time.
IMO everything happens for a reason. If this is something you and DH agreed upon that makes the most sense to you and your family, just take this time to really enjoy your family of 3 knowing that when the time is right you will expand to 4.

This is exactly it does it stink.. YES... but its whats best and im taking everyday and enjoying it with my daughter and my husband and treasuring the time we have as just the 3 of us it will be nice to celebrate another xmas at a family of 3 and enjoy a vacation with out morning sickness (not that i wouldnt give anything to have that again because of the fabulous outcome)... its not directly the cause of weddings and events that are coming up... but its the best decsion for us finacially also. just today... i dont like my decision..yesterday i was fine with it..

Everyone has to do what's right for them... but I had multiple events...plus I was holding out for a promotion at work... so hubby and I held off a few years.. We waited until April and were finally pg.. but I m/c.. now we are still trying. The promotion came up and I didn't get it. The one who did get it was 5 months pg... go figure. Personally, I wish I didn't revolve my time for a baby around other people's agendas, but I dont know your circumstance. I wish you luck with your decision... I do believe things have a way of working out

This is really one of those topics you are going to get a bunch of mixed opinions on. Those who are waiting or who have waited will tell you to wait... those who are hungry for a BFP and currently trying without a plan to hold out will tell you to keep trying.
Ultimately, you know your situation best and you need to figure out what works for you and your family.

I totally 100% agree! The LAST thing I would EVER do is put off TTC because of a wedding. Sorry but I think pregnancy and expanding your family trumps any other party or event but that's just my opinion.

This is very true. You will get a lot of mixed feelings here. We are answering based on our own personal situation and feelings. Obviously those of us who are having trouble conceiving or just want a baby that bad will tell you that nothing should get in your way while those who are waiting (for whatever reason that may be) will tell you to wait. Again, personally, at this point I wouldnt let anything stop me from starting TTC but I am aware that in life things do happen that can make a person but their life of hold. You mention finances, I agree that this would be something to cause someone to stop trying. But remember, as Ive been told before and Im sure you have heard before you'll never be 100$ financially ready. So, ultimately, it is up to you...and you probably already know your answer right? only you know what is best for you guys...
sometimes i feel that way too. i know that waiting a bit is best for us and our situation but some days i'm like *** are we waiting for let's just do it already and see what happens but in the end i know the decision to wait awhile is the best one for us. and there are plenty of days where i am content with the decision and i'm confident we have done the right by waiting so long.
so you aren't alone. i kind of know how you feel when it comes to having to wait to TTC. plus like you said you get to enjoy your LO now and have special QT with her
