does anyone feel a little jealous/competiitve
when first finding out somebody who is close to you reveals for the first time that they are preggo? ofcourse i am happy for them but my initial reaction is jealousy, and i feel like why cant this be me?? i guess everything happens for a reason when the time is right. i just had to vent sorry just a little down today

yup! I think it's totally normal though to feel a twinge of jealousy. So long as you aren't outwardly showing it, then try not to beat yourself up for it.
I can't count on my hands anymore how many people that I know who have gotten preggo and had babies since we started TTC last year. It definitely has gotten even harder now and sometimes I really hate the person I've become inside, but I try to remind myself that it will one day be my turn.

I think its definitely natural to feel a little jealousy, especially if it's been a hard process for you. Hell, I get a twinge of jealousy when someone IRL announces she's having a girl and we arent even TTC until next year!

I felt horrible yesterday. I was INSANELY jealous at a family dinner where I met a cousin's baby for the first time . I felt so guilty because I KNOW they struggled to get where they are. Granted.. the road is no picnic for us either between infertility treatments.. losing our son in the 2nd trimester.. and now waiting 8wks to try again with the RE .......... but I know they have absolutely had and will continue to have their share of challenges. I still felt jealous when I saw their baby. It's only natural.
