how soon after O can dr tell?
DH and I weren't planning on TTC for another couple of months. However, we had an "oops" last week. We  Thursday, I ovulated Fri/Sat. My period is due NEXT Friday (the 17th). I have a gyno appt tomorrow - will she be able to tell if I am PG? or is it too soon?

Chances are if you conceived, you haven't even implanted yet. Your Dr would not be able to tell just by examining you. A blood test MIGHT detect a low level of HCG but it's not very likely. Either way, just tell your Doc you may have conceived and I'm sure she will know if she needs to be careful.

most likely no, they wont be able to tell at all. implantation occurs on average 7-9 days post ovulation and only during/after implantation is HCG produced and detectable in the blood. HCG has to be over 1,000 for anything to be seen on a sono.
