Have you ever gone on a retreat

in another country for some athletic activity that interests you?


I've been getting emails about a resort in Mexico that does retreats for hot yoga, something I enjoy.

It looks like a good time, and I could also bring DH and he wouldn't have to go to the yoga (it's offered twice a day), but since it's a resort, they obviously have other stuff going on.

Are these also geared to beginners that you know of? TIA!

my friend was telling me about the mexico one. she's done two of them in Nice, France, and looooves them. I'm very tempted but b/c I got injured I still haven't gone back to hot yoga. I personally don't think they are geared to beginners since if you never did bikram before doing it 2x a day might be too hardcore.

is the mexico one in October? my DH would NEVER go; i wish he would. I'd go with my friend, it's on my list of things to do
