Re: ovulaltion pain- how long does it last?
its kinda hard to describe... and i had to concentrate really hard to feel it...for me it felt like someone was pushing on me from the inside... there was also something like a burning sensation.. like if you touched an open cut with your finger... it lasted for about 3 days...
Friday, Saturday & Sunday for me... and we Saturday night...
I got my first smiliey on the OPK on Friday and I got another one on Saturday... I wasnt planning to try this month but we went out saturday night and well... thats that! lol

For me I usually experience some cramping on the first day of my period and then it subsides by day 2.

Re: ovulaltion pain- how long does it last?
I get O pains.
When I came off the pill before getting PG with my DS, it was always specifically on one side. I told my OB that I thought the egg came from my L side and when he did the sono, he confirmed I was right.
Now (since my DS's birth) it's different every cycle. As far as the duration goes~ Sometimes it's nothing, one time it lasted off and on for a few days. But generally its for several hours.
The way it feels is always different also. Mostly iit's just like having period cramps. Other times I do feel it in a specific location. And some cycles, I feel no different at all.
I don't ever remember having O pains before I was on the pill, however, I wasn't as in tune with my body either. So maybe I just didn't notice if it was slight.
