your RE and blood results over the phone?
I did hormones blood test yesterday at my RE office, one of those " I do not know where I am in my cycle, but need provera" tests ( CD 42 today). So I called today to ask about prog test and whether I can start provera. They said the results are in, but dr. will call me back to discuss when to start provera. Ugh.. Why can't they just tell me to go ahead and start?
How does your RE office would handle such thing? TIA!

Maybe the dr hasn't reviewed the results yet. Usually, the nurses call me after the dr has reviewed the chart. If I have any questions that the nurses can't answer, the dr will call me back. I hope you get the answer soon! Hang in there.

dr. B always calls directly with the results. sometimes its not right when he gets them back, but more like when he has time to review them.

It's possible, the results are in, but the Dr. hasn't reviewed them yet.
I only got a call from my nurse AFTER the Dr. reviewed my blood results and then gave the nurse instructions for what I needed to do.

Re: your RE and blood results over the phone?
2 possibilities.
1. Dr has not yet reviewed them.
OR......more than likely.
2. Dr is reviewing them and he is trying to figure out your next cycle. The Dr will probably look at the results and then tell the NP/PA or Nurse to call you and say, "OK, you should take provera for "X" amount of days, then you should get AF on Sept "enter day", so be prepared to come in on "enter day" for cycle day 3 testing, and here is what your next protocol will be." If the Dr takes a day to give you the bloodwork results it's only because he is trying to find the right meds and dosages that will give you the best possible results and so they can call in the right meds to the correct pharmacy.
