Does anyone own a Craftsman Styly home?
If so what town are you in?
I love this style but can't seem to find many on LI.
If you could include a picture that would be great too

ours is an "american craftsman." i didn't even know what that meant until we looked at this house. they said it's primarily a california-style home. the lady who built it back in the 30's was from the west coast.
ETA: we are in east islip, but there aren't any other houses like ours around us, so i don't think that's of much help.

i think it's more of a west coast style of house so probably won't find too many out here

This is one of the areas we're looking in too.
I've also seen a few in Islip when driving around but nothing for sale.
There is a house in Bohemia that the family made into this style about 8 yrs ago that is gorgeous.
This "might" be an option. It would be for me...just not sure if DH would be on board with it.

i have seen a few in huntington - i love the style and have adjusted the exterior of our house to add some craftsman touches - if i were to build new it would have been a craftsman
i have noticed more closer to villages because they are a good house for narrow or small lots

mine is kind of "craftsmany". It is really a victorian though. We are in northeast suffolk where a lot of summer bungalos have been converted.
