For those of you pregnant before...

Did you kind of just "know" something was off and were pregnant the first time around? I remember saying to DH something is up, my boobs were sore and swelled up, this was before I got my BFP and a day later I tested and was pregnant That was my only symptom.

Now I sit and am in my 2WW and kind of just "know" this isn't our month. Does that make any sense? AF is due on the 10th and I have ZERO symptoms except for a crampy feeling and irritable! My boobs always give it away for me and they are the same old boobies!!

I didn't just know with DD1, but this past month when I was PG, I knew right away...I totally felt it, now being pg I know what it feels like if that makes sense

It def. makes sense to me, that's why I ask...I feel like I would totally know this time around as well because of the way I felt the first time.

Yes, i had all the same symptoms that i am having this month. The sore nips, the cramping, the tiredness...all were dead giveaways when i found out with DD.

The first time around I was absolutely, positively certain I was pregnant at only 5DPIUI. I had cramping, exhaustion, starvation, and I just felt completely different. I can't explain it, I jut felt pregnant and I just knew. I got my BFP at 10DPIUI.

The other 2 times I got pregnant (which ended in miscarriage) I really didn't have that same "feeling".

The first time around when I was preggo with DS, I had no "feelings" that I was pregnant. I had sore boobs, possibly a bit sorer than usual, but that was it. My first month of seriously TTC this time around, I could have sworn I was pregnant. I had all the symptoms of early pregnancy and then nothing, a BFN. I think it was my mind playing tricks on me! Last cycle I felt nothing and got a BFN. It's hard for me to determine if I have any breast tenderness or swelling because I am still BFing. Hopefully this month is it for all of us! Re: For those of you pregnant before...

I knew with DS. I remember an increase in CM around 6/7 DPO - but honestly other than that, no "symptoms" come to mind... but I just knew.
I'm not sure this month. I am almost preparing myself for negative HPT's this weekend, and despite being through it all before, a BFP would seem pretty surreal to me. Is that weird?

I also feel that i would be more optimistic about this month (cause I KNOW we timed it perfectly) had I not gotten the Brooke prediction. I know that it's just for fun and certainly not gospel, but something is holding me back from being really sure if this was our month and i think that's it..

Re: For those of you pregnant before...

I didnt. I always missed AF a month or 2 so by the time I knew I was at least 1/2 way through my 1st trimester.

Re: For those of you pregnant before...

the first time i was pregnant, i did not know until i was late and took a pregnancy test.
i guess i didnt notice any symptoms or simply did not have any.

the 2nd time i got pregnant i was paying attention. we threw caution to the wind and i thought i was supposed to "o" the following week but when i checked afterwards i saw that we did the deed during a fertile period.
so i was looking out for signs. no tender boobs but i just had a feeling.
i tested as early as possible and it came up negative. i tested again a few days later and it was positive.

what gave it away too was my dd. i bf her once a day ( trying to wean her at the time) and she made a grimace face and was crying .. i guess my breastmilk changed right away.

With ds I remember thinking something was up, but I talked myself out of believing that I was actually pregnant. I swear I was only like 5 or 6 dpo and I had this terrible gagging reflex to everything. It was awful and so strange.

I was pretty confident the cycle I got pregnant. I just didn't feel typical AF symptoms (though, sooo many people do and then get pregnant.. )

Re: For those of you pregnant before...

Our first was a surprise so I was not looking for any symptoms...but i do remember the week before i found out...when i got out of the shower and looked in the mirror - i had a giant thick blue vein coming out of one of my boobs. I was like "what is that about?!" that was really the only thing.

Being that our first was a surprise and we weren't trying at the time...this time around is difficult emotionally because we thought it would be so easy. And here we are month 4 probably going onto month 5 Chat Icon

Re: For those of you pregnant before...

The first thing I noticed was that I could not make it through the night without getting up to pee.

The very next sign were the sore boobs. My boobs always get sore right before AF, but this soreness was a lot worse.
