Re: Anyone else skeeved by Olive Garden
I love their breadsticks, alfredo sauce, and suppa toscana.
I don't like anything else there really. But the soup is DELISH

The ILs LOOOOOOVE it, and i don't know why. They have such an awesome REAL Italian place 5 mins away, yet they will drive 45!!! 45 minute for crappy fake Italian. i don't get it.
The treated us once, and it wasn't very good. Not worth the drive.

I love their salad and Fried Meat Raviolis. The fried ravioli are probably my main reason for going. Their food is a bit on the salty side and after eating the raviolis I usually get my meal wrapped up and never end up eating it anyway.

I just picture the chef in the back microwaving a bag full of cream sauce and precooked noodles.

commercials? Every time I see it, it grosses me out. The food just looks gross to me. Am I the only one?
ITA! Why would anyone eat there when there are so many great italian restaurants.
that's how i feel about it. and if you really want an italian chain instead of authentic, carrabba's is soooo much better than olive garden.

I prefer old fashioned family owned Italian restaurants.

I agree--the location in Westbury is so close to Vincent's, Cafe Baci, and Cafe Formaggio just to name a few--all 3 are a million times better IMO. YET--OG is always booming with people, so I guess some people do like it!

Re: Anyone else skeeved by Olive Garden
I HATE Olive Garden! I have been there 2 times (at other people's suggestions) and both times the food was horrendous ! I would never go back!
