flying and pregnancy?

is there a time thats its safer to fly during pregnancy?

like is it not safe to fly during a certain trimester??

the only time you are not supposed to fly is at the very end. Other than that it is safe.

The airline won't let you fly towards the end of your pregnancy. Otherwise, it's safe. Keep in mind though that many women get m/s during the first trimester, which may make flying during the first tri hard.

Most airlines within the US do not have restrictions. Some do not let you fly within 10 days of your due date or 7 days after giving birth. Some international airlines say don't fly after 32 weeks. You can google for a chart or the specific airline information.

I flew a few weeks ago around 19 weeks and my nurse just told me to get up every half hour during the flight to stretch a little and suggested that I wear compression knee-highs to make sure I wouldn't get a blood clot in my legs. I got a pair for $4 at a local drug store. I looked goofy but whatever.

We had a good friend fly up for our wedding last year at 36 weeks. We were so happy she was comfortable enough to come!!!
