Confused - Need advice
Hi Ladies,
I posted recently about my irregular/long cycles, but now I'm concerned and not sure what to do...
I started feeling AF or possible pregnancy symptoms weeks ago and STILL there is no AF and I am getting really nervous because it's been almost 60 days since I had it last.
The last time I had AF was July 4th, which is crazy!!
I took 2 tests and got BFN both times. I'm assuming they can't be wrong and I'm just really irregular, any advice of what to do?
I think I need to go see my gyno and find out what's wrong, but I'm scared there is an issue and I don't want to know what it is :(
Thanks for your help!

Re: Confused - Need advice
dont be alarmed, but cycles that long are a sign of anovulation which in many cases is related to polycystic ovaries (PCOS). its a very common and treatable issue.
i would go to the doctor and have them run bloodwork. if you are scared of that you can always temp and make sure you are ovulating, but you would need to start a new cycle before it would be accurate. however i really think you should see a doctor and confirm if theres an issue. i promise its much better to know and treat it then to wait and wait and wait and never ovulate and get BFNs. my first cycle off BCP was like 80 days long with no O. i did O then next cycle but not until CD32. the cycle after that again was 60+ days and anovulatory. thats when i started seeing an RE and havent looked back since. it is the best decision i have made in regards to TTC.
good luck and please FM if you have any questions!!

Re: Confused - Need advice
I am on cd 44. I went to my dr last week and he checked me out and said if I dont get af in two weeks to call him. i would make and appt to be on the safe side. My dr did say that it is not uncommon to get longer cylces when you are ttc bc of the stress you put yourself through.
