We have a 150' driveway with pea gravel with beds at the bottom corners.

Front: flower beds, some with boulder retaining walls

Sides: north facing side is all beds along the house and fence line. South side has a large dog run, utility area (AC unit, where we receive oil deliveries.)

Rear: patio extends the whole rear of the house, but there are boulder retaining walls and planting beds along both sides.

We currently don't have any flowers, shrubs or trees in the beds (they're cut out and mulched) because we're in the process of redesigning our landscaping plan (the plantings, but not the layout.) We felt our original plan was to specimen oriented with too many Asian plantings, so we're now doing something more formal/traditional with more greenery & shrubs. We definitely wanted more consistency/repetition. Hopefully the work will be done by fall.
